R&B singer Keyshia Cole was arrested early Friday morning, GistByAjao has learned.
The LAPD confirms that the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter was brought in Friday on a private person’s arrest, and charged with battery.
According to TMZ, the incident took place at 5 a.m. at the home of Cole’s rumored boyfriend, rapper Birdman, where Cole allegedly assaulted a woman she found there.
Cole has since posted bail and been released. Her sixth studio album, Point of No Return, is due out October 7.
